Prague

Hi lovelies! I've been sharing my photos from earlier this year in a few previous posts. Although it's already December, thought I would put up some photos from Prague, the last city we stayed in before travelling back to our trip's starting point, Munich :)

The past couple of weeks over here I've been preparing the house for Christmas and just enjoying all the festive posts on your blogs! Hope you are all keeping warm and cozy xoxo

Trying to take a few snaps with the bf's camera!
We also visited this street market in the city centre. Lots of trinkets, souvenirs and...

berries!

The Old Town Square

Mala Strana is a quieter area on the other side of the river. We climbed up to the Prague Castle and found a little vineyard at the top and a beautiful view of the city.

We also stayed in the Mala Strana area at the Golden Apple apartments.

A view from the window of our B&B. It was nice to go into the busier part of the city to see the sights but then return to this peaceful little area!

Liebster Award

I've been nominated for two Liebster awards! Thank you guys for reading my posts and to The Sorting House and Kassica both for nominating my blog! Since I have two sets of questions I hope it's okay if I answer them in two different posts.

Liebster Award

Liebster is a term of endearment in German, e.g. sweetheart, dearest :) You have probably seen this award in lots of new blogs as it is meant to be awarded to up & coming blogs with less than 200 followers. A few rules for the award...

- Write 11 random facts about yourself
- Answer the 11 questions asked by the blogger that nominated you
- Create 11 questions of your own questions for blogs you would like to give the Liebster award
- Choose up to 11 blogs to award <3

No, I hope not!

7. If you could go on holiday anywhere and money is no object, where would you go and why?

I would go to Antarctica. I just think it's so out there and like nothing I've seen before. It looks so beautiful but it's so expensive to organize travel there.

Krakow Days

We stopped in Krakow for only a couple of days but I really liked it! It's a vibrant and lovely medieval city with a beautiful main square and an interesting old town. There are a lot of young people living in Krakow which adds to the lively atmosphere.

Beautiful day in the city centre

Rynek Glowny is the main square in Krakow. There are lots of cafes, pubs, restaurants and food stalls all around the square. We had delicious barbeque food there! The traditional polish dumplings are also really good :)

Jewellery boxes and other cute trinkets :)

We also visited Wawel Castle a short walk from the centre...

I wish we could have had one more day in Krakow, but even though it was a short visit we managed to see a lot around the city. We took a bus ride to visit Auschwitz as well. It was really sad to see but I felt it was a necessary part of the trip. We missed the salt mines which seems to be a popular attraction. Maybe if we return to Krakow again we'll get to see that too.

The place we stayed at, Venetian House Aparthotel, was lovely and right on the main square. On the last night there we made ourselves some tea while we got ready to go out and snapped a few photos from our window :)

On Stress and Relaxation

via Pinterest
Hi all. This week has been pretty stressful, lots of things going on and also my Sis was having some intense head pains. We were in and out of A&E, scans and she was also admitted to hospital for a night. It seems to be a flare up from stress, thankfully she's a lot better now.
What helps you to manage stress?  For me, getting lots of sunlight being out and active during the day, running on my treadmill and also just taking time to relax. I love reading a book in my room with some aromatherapy oils burning and a warm cocoa. I found this link a while back - 55 ways to take care of yourself, for the busy girl. I hope it gives you some good ideas too when you're feeling stressed. For now it's Saturday and I'm ready for the weekend and a good night out! :)
